Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines
Welcome to America’s Seed Fund Week! This virtual event is designed to foster a respectful and engaging environment where participants can connect and learn more about SBIR/STTR funding. To ensure a positive experience for all, we ask that you follow these guidelines.
Respectful & Professional Conduct
- Treat all attendees, speakers, and moderators with courtesy and professionalism.
- Disruptive behavior, including trolling, spamming, or excessive self-promotion, will not be tolerated.
No Political or Controversial Debates
- This is a government-hosted event focused on the SBIR/STTR program.
- Avoid political discussions, controversial topics, or any debates that could create division.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or hate speech based on race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited.
- Personal attacks, threats, or bullying will result in immediate removal from the event.
Stay on Topic
- Keep discussions relevant to the event themes, sessions, and industry topics.
- Off-topic or inappropriate comments may be removed by moderators.
Chat & Q&A Etiquette
- Be concise and respectful in chat discussions.
- Do not flood the chat with repeated messages or off-topic questions.
- Event moderators reserve the right to remove messages that violate these guidelines.
Consequences for Violations
- Violations may result in removal from the event and potential ban from future events.
